Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Video Editor to produce high-converting Meta Ads tailored to the finance and tax sector. This role focuses heavily on direct-response marketing, requiring an editor who understands how to hook viewers and simplify complex financial concepts visually.
Core Responsibilities:
Edit Direct-Response Ads: Produce engaging, high-converting video creatives specifically for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ad campaigns.
Format for Finance: Design content that simplifies complex tax and financial topics while maintaining a highly professional, trustworthy, and compliant tone.
Hook & Retention Optimization: Implement strong first-second visual hooks, dynamic text overlays, pacing, and sound design to maximize viewer retention and click-through rates.
Format Adaptation: Resize and optimize video assets for various Meta placements (Reels, Stories, In-Feed).
Collaborate & Iterate: Work closely with the marketing team to quickly iterate on ad variations based on live performance data.
Job qualifications & experience:
Meta Ads Experience: Proven track record editing paid social media videos, specifically for Meta Ads (portfolio demonstrating direct-response editing required).
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or strong familiarity with B2B/B2C finance, accounting, or tax-related content.
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent professional editing software.
Schedule Availability: Strict capability to work a full-time, 8-hour shift synchronously with US business hours.
Marketing Acumen: Strong understanding of paid advertising trends, split-testing creatives, and direct-response marketing principles.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for seamless remote collaboration.
