Video Editor

Position: Part-Time, can turn to Full-Time

Setup: Remote

Schedule: EST

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Serve as a backup for the onshore video team

  • Perform video trimming and video conversions

  • File organization and asset management: download and/or upload files in designated locations

  • Produce short-form content (reels) from long-form videos

  • Meet tight deadlines and manage high-volume content output during rush requests

  • Basic thumbnail design production

  • Edit podcasts, interviews, or event content

  • Edit with subtitles, B-roll integration, and multi-camera editing

Minimum Skills, Competencies, and Requirements:

  • Proficiency with major editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut)

  • Familiar with open-source and AI editing tools such as Handbrake, Menace, or Loveable

  • Proven experience in video editing for YouTube, podcasts, and social media content

  • Strong skills in long-form editing, short-form/reels, and storytelling

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow branding guidelines

  • 3+ years in editing, preferably in the real estate, real estate education, and coaching industries, and B2B sectors

  • Must be willing to work remotely and across US time zones

Interested candidates must prepare a portfolio displaying sample works and will be required to perform a sample project as part of the screening process. Output will be solely for screening, shall not be used for operations, and will be watermarked for creative rights.
